Everyone is invited to a Soup and Sandwich Luncheon today immediately following the morning’s worship service in celebration of Rosalie Null’s 90th birthday.
Everyone is invited to family movie night this evening @ 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary featuring I Can Only Imagine. Come out and bring a friend!
The XYZ’s will meet on Monday, September 24 @ 12:00 pm for a covered dish luncheon. Lynna Mitchell will present a program concerning the plans for the old railroad section house in Richlands.
SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA EMPOWERED BIBLE CONFERENCE
Join Pastors Marc and Keith for a day long equipping opportunity for church leaders and members on Monday, September 24 @ Thomas Village Baptist Church in Duffield, VA. This will be a wonderful opportunity to be encouraged through the practical application of God’s Word to the ministry of the local church. Scheduled keynote speakers include Chuck Lawless (Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC), Jonathan Falwell (Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA), and Brian Autry (current Executive Director of the SBCV). Please be in prayer for our Youth as they unite in prayer before school on Wednesday, September 26 @ 7:45 am. There will be a time of gathering and fellowship from 7:15-7:40 am.
Our church is responsible for providing workers to help at the Food Pantry on Tuesday, October 2 and Friday, October 5 beginning at 9:30 am each morning.
The Baptist Women on Mission will meet at the church on Wednesday, October 3 at 1:00 pm.
The Women’s Mission Circle will meet at the church on Thursday, October 4 @ 5:30 pm. Hostesses will be Pat Deel and Elaine Holmes with a program presented by Pat Deel.
If you would like to assist college students with expenses you may designate your donation as “Educational Fund”. The need has been especially great this term and we anticipate the need to continue. Students appreciate any assistance they are given. Thank you.
